Certified organic in 2009, this ubiquitous treasure, Frankland Estate is a family owned and operated boutique winery, buried deep in the heart of Western Australia’s most isolated wine region. Located 250km east of Margaret River and inland from the wild and picturesque Great Southern coastline, Frankland Estate was established in 1988 by Barrie Smith and Judi Cullam.
This estate makes some of the best Australian riesling and the 2019's are some of their best yet! At this young age its full of tension and energy. Lots of power derived from a high level of acidity, but its not without flavour (an issue with other young riesling in Australia). Smoke, green apple, dried lavender and peach blossom, lashings of mouth-watering acidity, mega crunch and great length
