2022 Barossa Shiraz
Curator Wine
Curator Wine Co.
A small, artisanal producer in the Barossa Valley focused on old vine Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, with a minimalist winemaking approach that aims to express the nuances of the region and its sub-regions.
Crafted from hand-picked grapes grown in our Marananga vineyard, with select parcels from Stonewell and Greenock, this Shiraz is a bold yet polished expression of the Barossa. After a cold soak and natural fermentation using indigenous yeasts, the wine was hand-plunged and basket-pressed, then barrel-fermented in French and seasoned American oak before resting for 18 months.
