Italian Chianti Discovery 3-Pack
Chianti2022 Poggio Scalette Chianti Classico
This is a wine that expresses both the Chianti Classico terroir as well as the Sangiovese grape. The grapes for this wine are sourced from vineyards in the village of Ruffoli, located in Greve. Harvested at the peak of ripeness in October and fermented in concrete tanks, this wine is one of the finest examples of this classic Italian varietal.
A refined red with blackberry and dark aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with round tannins that are very polished. Bright and vivid.
2022 Jurij Fiore E Figla
The 2022 Chianti Classico Sonocosì is fresh and light in body, all of which make it a good choice for drinking now and over the next decade or so. This north-facing site at 550 meters in altitude yields a lithe, aromatically expressive Classico loaded with character. Vinification and aging in oak keeps the flavours vibrant.
