2022 Adega Pedralonga 'Terra de Godos' Albarino, Rias Baixas
For generations, the Alfonso family has crafted wine in Rías Baixas using traditional and biodynamic methods. The Pedralonga vineyards benefit from an Atlantic climate, bringing gentle temperatures and ample rainfall throughout the year. Planted in sandy loam soils at the base of the Xiabre mountain, where the vineyards receive abundant sunshine for the healthy ripening of fruit.
Hand-picked Albarino is pressed to temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for fermentation, where they undergo malolactic conversion on the lees and a further 6 months of maturation. Expect a fresh palate, with good acidity and hints of green apple, unctuous texture, and mineral salinity.
2019 Coster Del Sio Petit Comite Tempranillo/Grenache
In the glass, the organically produced Petit Comité Tinto Costers del Segre of Costers del Sió presents a dense ruby red color. The first nose of Petit Comité Tinto Costers del Segre presents notes of blackberries, mulberries and blueberries. The fruity aspects of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as even more fruity-balsamic nuances. This wine benifits from decanting.
